![]() I guess the verdict is: however small the actual risk is, there's no point in potentially jeopardizing a $1000+ machine with thousands of dollars of legitimate software on it, just to justify a $5 computer mag purchase. I'm pretty conscientious about keeping my machine as "legit" as possible but sometimes you just gotta weigh whether to pay over $150 for a de-esser or wait until someone puts it on KVR for 2/3 of that. I don't have any Tone2 plugs installed, so really my biggest concern was that I'd read some rumor about how Tone2 (for some stupid reason) detected the use of cracked FF stuff and it gave someone a bunch of trouble. But there have been other cracked plugs on there that I've later bought and replaced with true license files/serials/etc. The advanced routing structure allows for both serial and parallel signal. The only cracked plugs that I can think of, off the top of my head, are like 2 or 3 Fabfilter ones that I haven't bought yet.
